DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Lopez de Heredia was founded at Haro in the 1870s and still works the way it did then: long ageing in old oak, racked by hand, released when the house decides it is ready. Tondonia Reserva is the classic Rioja style rather than the modern one. Subdued red fruit and dried flowers, cedar, leather and cigar box, over a firm, incisive palate.
