DESCRIPTION
Blackbird is one of the few Napa estates built around Merlot rather than Cabernet, on Oak Knoll ground. Illustration is Merlot led with Cabernet Franc and a little Cabernet Sauvignon. Currant and sandalwood with flowers and an inky note, then raspberry, cherry and plum. Full bodied and plush, with fine velvet tannins and a long finish.
