DESCRIPTION
Beringer has farmed Knights Valley since the mid 1960s, on cobbled, rocky alluvial soils, and put the name on a label in 1974, nine years before the area got its own AVA. Ripe black cherry, plum and blackberry with vanilla, clove and cocoa nib from the oak. Medium to full bodied, velvety, with polished tannins and a long finish.
