Benziger 2023 Merlot is produced with sustainably grown grapes from Monterey County wine region in California. Grapes were selected from varied sites to ensure the right balance of fruit, texture and acidity in the wine. Each parcel was fermented individually at varying temperatures to bring out the best and finest qualities of each. This Merlot is bright with dark cherry, spiced plum, smoky vanilla and savoury herbs vibrant on the palate.
Merlot food pairings: roast pork, veal chops from the grill, stuffed flank steak.
