DESCRIPTION
Domaine de Beaurenard is a family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and this white is 100% estate grown and organic. The family's vineyards spread across the whole appellation and sit on all four of its soil types, which adds complexity to the blend.
All six traditional white grape varieties of the region are fermented together, rather than made separately and blended later. White Châteauneuf is rare, only a small share of the appellation's wine, and it's richer than most French whites. Expect stone fruit, white flowers and a round texture with fresh acidity. This 2025 is very young and full of fruit.
Serve it cool, around 50-52F, not ice cold, so the texture comes through. It's lovely with roast chicken, grilled fish, scallops, or Provençal dishes with herbs and olive oil. A good bottle for anyone who thinks they only like red Rhône.
