DESCRIPTION
There is no coffee in it. The roasted coffee and dark chocolate character comes from particular yeasts and heavily toasted oak staves, a technique Bertus Fourie worked out to tame Pinotage's rougher edges. Intense coffee and chocolate on the nose with ripe mulberry, plum and maraschino cherry behind, then a full coffee hit on the palate over red berry and a little vanilla. Fine-grained tannins. Divisive, and a huge seller.
