• Nebbiolo from 60-70 year old vines (and even older) in the Basarin cru in Neive • Vineyard sits atop a hillside that borders the zones of Neive and Treiso • South-west facing exposure • Fermentation and maceration on the skins with indigenous yeasts for about 40 days, followed by submerged cap • Aging in oak cask for approximately 20-22 months before bottling • No filtration or fining prior to bottling • 1,100 cases produced each year on average
