The Balvenie 12-Year-Old 1931 Collection Home Malted Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a limited-edition Speyside single malt Scotch whisky created to celebrate The Balvenie’s traditional home malting heritage. Made entirely from barley malted on The Balvenie Estate, this expression reflects one of the distillery’s distinctive traditional crafts while offering a modern interpretation of its classic honeyed house style.
The whisky is initially matured in American oak casks before being finished in European oak ex-Sherry butts sourced from Jerez, Spain. This combination brings together creamy toffee and honeyed malt with layers of raisin, ginger, oak spice, and subtle sherry richness. The result is a polished and expressive Speyside single malt with impressive depth and a smooth, velvety character.
