• Limited release wine-based aperitif produced by Veso in San Francisco, California • Botanicals include Italian bergamot orange peel and organic, Fair Trade-certified Earl Grey tea from Tonganagaon, India • Base of locally sourced California white wine (variety and source may vary batch to batch) • Neutral grape spirit distilled in Alameda, California • Sweetened to 160 g/l using cane sugar • Aromas of brewed black tea, dried orange peel, and riverbank moss precede a palate that lives up to its namesake, highlighting tannic black tea and bergamot orange with nori and soft undertones of tropical fruit • Beer and Wine License eligible • 18% ABV Produced by blending infusions of dried bergamot peels and Earl Grey tea macerated using a combination of local California white wine and neutral grape spirit, this wine-based aperitif from Veso’s Eclipse series of limited, experimental fortified wines is perfect as a vermouth substitute, a versatile cocktail modifier, or in place of amaro in an Amaro Caldo.
