DESCRIPTION
Small lots were fermented seperately in stainless steel open top fermenters, with 50% whole clusters. The wine aged on lees for 22 months in various sized neutral French barriques and 700L concrete egg.
Cinnamon, clove, and wild strawberry jam usher in notes of oolong tea with a hint of alpine forest, reminiscent of the foothills of Mount Adams where this Pinot Noir is grown. On the palate this wine is light on its feet and full of energy, filling the mouth with cranberry, pomegranate and bright acidity. This Pinot Noir offers a full range of expression that is both an expression of terroir and true to varietal character.
