• 65% Corvina, 10% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella, 5% Molinara from 2 ha total • 20 to 30-year-old vines at 250m above sea level • Mazzi family believes that the fruit from the 'Punta di Villa' vineyard is particularly suited to Amarone production • Calcareous clay soils • The grapes dry until January and lose over 50% of their weight • Fermentation on the skins for 14 days in steel vats with temperature control • Aged in French oak barriques for 24 months, plus 6 months in bottle
