ALLEGRINI FIERAMONTE AMARONE 750ML V2013

The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected. After overripening in the drying facility, they are destemmed in January and subjected to soft pressing. The wine matures for 48 months in French oak barriques, followed by blending for 6 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and ageing in the bottle for about a year.

Ruby red in colour, this Amarone opens on the nose with a dominant, broad and toasted scent of coffee and tobacco. On the palate, it impresses with its imposing structure. The tannins are centre stage but not aggressive on the palate, accompanied by a fresh and vital acidity that lengthens and streamlines the mouthfeel.
