DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Savigny-les-Beaune sits in a side valley just north of Beaune, and its reds are lighter and quicker to open than the big Cote de Beaune names next door. Red and black berry fruit with a lift of mild spice, full on entry, then a fruity finish that does not overstay. Bichot has been in Beaune since 1831 and owns six domaines across Burgundy.
