DESCRIPTION
Caymus has been a Napa benchmark since 1972, and the house style barely moves: dark, rich, soft enough to open young. Black cherry, blueberry and cassis with licorice and sweet spice, a little eucalyptus, and the silky tannins the label is known for. Fermented in stainless steel, then French oak. Drinking well now and will hold to about 2033.
