- Winemaking Harvested by hand, the grapes are selected for peak maturity and undergo fermentation. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 6 months providing depth and complexity. Prior to release, the wine receives 5 additional months of bottle refinement.
- Tasting Notes Deep red in color with vigorous shades of purple that lead to aromas of ripe red plum fruit, mixed with alluring notes of coffee and vanilla spice. On the palate this Malbec is full-bodied with velvety cherry and strawberry flavors framed by fleshy tannins and a smooth finish.
- Food Pairing Xplorador Malbec marries well with full-flavored foods including roasted beef, lamb, duck and dishes with spicy sauces.
