Valle Pinot Grigio 2017

This Pinot Grigio comes from the renowned Valle estate – an exciting collaboration of the talented Paolo Valle and the equally remarkable Alessandro Gallici (maker of our wildly popular Visionario). In their hilly vineyards, not far from the centuries-old Rozzato Abbey, Paolo and Alessandro put quality over quantity, instituting a lower-density vine training setup than some of their neighbors.

Beyond the mountain-freshness naturally imparted to the wines by the Alpine terroir, Paolo and Alessandro also chose to cool ferment the wine in stainless steel tanks – a means of preserving the refreshing, pure-fruited character that, decades ago, the Valle estate helped to pioneer in the region. And considering the stunning quality of Italy’s 2015 vintage, you’re in for something really special.
