"Elegant fruity nose with notes of red berries, raspberries and cherries. Ripe and full bodied, well-structured, with a lively acidity bringing some freshness to the wine. Impressive purity on the finish, a great execution" Decanter World Wine Awards
Deep ruby red in the glass. Rich bouqet of black pepper, tobacco and redcurrant combine with notes of red fruits, candied wild berries and blackberries. The palate presents potent and persisting tannins in a wellstructured body.
From the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo Mendoza region in Argentina. The grapes were grown in alluvial soil with drip irrigation. The vines experienced both a dry and continental climate with great sun exposure, allowing perfect ripening. The grapes were machine harvested the first week of April.
The grapes were destemmed and crushed, with maceration taking place before fermentation. 18 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 25-28ºC. Natural malolactic fermentation. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.
Food Pairing: Enjoy it with Lamb ribs with roasted eggplant and paprika mayonnaise.
