This is a pure pinot and by that I mean pure gold. It trips along in frisky fashion but it also feels ripe and solid; there’s more fruit and less sap this year, though it still presents as complex.

Cedarwood oak is present but completely harmonious, spice notes are roasted and dry, undergrowth and earth notes are tucked in nicely.
