This white Burgundy may only have humble ‘Bourgogne’ on the label, but it tastes much loftier than that. From a family estate based in Meursault, this white has richness, depth and longevity enhanced by a barrel fermentation and ageing in new oak.
There is a hint of sauvignon blanc to the citrus, pear and floral aromas. The round, delicious and nicely vibrant flavors possess good vibrancy on the dry, clean and grapefruit-infused finish that is a bit lean.
