The wine opens with an inviting nose of raspberries, cranberry, cherry and melted milk chocolate. The wine is robust with unyielding character, notes of ripe mixed berry, mocha and toasted spice which flesh out the structured tannins. The we llintegrated oak offers a warm vanilla note and leads to a long-l asting, seamless finish with balanced acidity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWinemaking:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot grapes were picked at optimum ripeness and sent directly to the winery. Once in the winery, the grapes were cold soaked for two days followed by fermentation. The different varieties and lots were kept separate through the fermentation process and only came together when the winemaker assembled the final blend before bottling.
