Tenuta Poggio Il Castellare Brunello di Montalcino 2015

Here we have a deep garnet color with notes of leather, black cherry, plum and baking spices. On the palate it is complex and medium-to-full bodied with dark fruit flavors, polished tannins and a judicial use of oak. This is an excellent example of the 2015 vintage that any Brunello lover will enjoy. 

This pretty Brunello opens with a dark garnet color and segues to aromas of black cherry liqueur, blackberry, soy sauce, cola and dark spice. It’s a brooding, austere expression from Tuscany with polished tannins and silky texture.
