Schola Sarmenti 'Roccamora' Negroamaro 2019 (750ml/12) 2019

ROCCAMORA Nardò is a red wine produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes by the Schola Sarmenti winery. The average age of the vines from which these grapes come is 20 years and they are trained with the Guyot system. The grapes that are harvested by hand and delicately placed in small ventilated boxes to preserve their integrity. In the cellar they are then further selected on a modern sorting table to ensure the use of only the best grapes. Maturation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature.

ROCCAMORA Negroamaro presents a singular olfactory register interwoven with notes of spices, tobacco and leather in a well-marked final of fruit. The taste at the first sip is resourceful, inebriates the palate with a softness and a velvety texture damped by a fine tannin that leaves a pleasantly bitter trail.
