One of our best-selling Sauvignon Blancs, Santa Luz delivers far more than the price suggests. Very typical of this variety, it shows most of the characteristics of its more expensive New Zealand counterparts with real depth, crisp citrus fruit, etc.

Tasting Notes

We were mightily impressed with this wine when we first tasted it. It shows great balance, with fresh, crisp citrus fruit and gooseberries on the palate - a real mouthful of fresh zesty flavours which slide seamlessly into a full finish reminiscent of lemon meringue pie. Great for any event from a posh dinner party to a bbq. A superb Sauvignon Blanc

Ideal with...

A good match for all white fish and particularly flat fish such as sole served with a squeeze of lemon. Salads, cold meats such as chicken and veggie dishes also work well with it. We tend to open a bottle (or two) when we have friends round for nibbles or tapas too.
