Santa Carolina Luis Pereira 2012

Santa Carolina is a winery that has thrived for more than a century, managed by two families, the Pereira and the Larrain´s. This icon wine exemplifies the flawless fusion between the past and the present. Grapes from the antique vineyards of the greatest valleys of Chile were processed following Santa Carolina’s original recipe in order to complement contemporary experience and knowledge. As a result, LP comes to life, using the initials of the courageous visionary Luis Pereira, who founded Vina Santa Carolina in 1875.

The wine has a intensive cherry red colour. Aroma of wine filled with notes of red fruits such as cherries and ripe blackberries, with hints of pomegranate and plum. Taste: this wine is of medium structure with great elegance: a smooth, silky tannins blend harmoniously with notes of red pepper, blond tobacco and nutmeg.
