Producer Description

We developed Porch Swing Sweet Red Reserve around a way of life: living on our front porches, waving hello to passing neighbors, sitting barefoot on a gentle swing. These are the moments that turn into memories, and this is the wine that creates them.Concord, a native North American grape species, is grown on a greater variety of soils and under a wider range of climatic conditions than any other American grape variety. Juice from the cool growing regions of the Great Lakes is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Cold fermentation retains the fruit's bright aroma and taste. Immediately following fermentation the now-dry wine is clarified. Additional juice is then added to the wine to provide sweetness and enhance character.
