The grapes for the Tawny Port Osborne are completely destemmed, and fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats. If the wine reaches an alcohol content of 6-9%, wine alcohol of 77% is added which stops the fermentation and the natural sweet flavor is retained in the wine. Then the wine is made in 550-liter drums, called "pipes" where he matures four years. The wine has a light golden brown color. The maturation smell and taste subtle flavors such as nuts. He is wonderfully sweet with soft tannins.Osborne produces excellent Port. For the Ports of them are used well-known Port grapes like Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Malvasia Fina, Codega and Gouveio comes from the Douro Valley.
