Olivier Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles 2016

A floral and bright white with lemons, sandalwood, cream and cooked apples following through to a full body, which expands on the palate with so much fruit and texture. Lemon rind and stone. Solid young white. Drink on release or hold. 

Olivier Leflaive's Pucelles is from vines which were formerly part of Domaine Leflaive, cultivated biodynamically. It’s excellent, offering up aromas of toasted wheat, white flowers, almond cream and confit lemon. On the palate the wine is deep, three-dimensional and concentrated, with good cut and grip on the long, penetrating finish. This is an excellent Pucelles which will give the Domaine Leflaive rendition stiff competition.
