North Fork Project Merlot 2016

Produced in a sustainable manner, the wine is made from estate-grown Pellegrini fruit and aged in a mix of French and American oak. Mostly Merlot with some Cabernet Franc blended in, this wine presents aromas of black cherry, vanilla and toast; flavors of dark chocolate, cherry and slight hints of oak are well integrated with structured tannins.

Easy going, young reds can be the one wine at a multi-course meal. Serve with an eggplant lasagna to start, roasted chicken with creamy gravy as the main and ripe blue cheese for dessert.
