Nine Stones Shiraz McLaren Vale 2015

This Shiraz displays a dark, rich, ripe bouquet, with blackberry notes brighter than the Barossa version of this wine. The tannins quickly developing a velvety character on the lasting finish.

Deep garnet colored, the 2015 Nine Stones Shiraz offers fragrant notes of crushed blackberries and black cherries over nuances of cinnamon stick, lavender and Sichuan pepper. Medium bodied, it gives a good mouthful of ripe black berry and baking spice flavors supported by soft, rounded tannins and a lively acid line. 

Using fruit sourced from the Calabria Family premium vineyard in the Barossa Valley, Nine Stones Shiraz is an intensly aromatic wine with aromas of blackberries, dark cherries and chocolate with hints of cedar and clove. The palate gives multi-layered sweet fruit flavours with powerful yet supple tannins with a full middle palate and a long satisfying finish.
