Rewarding from the first taste, beautiful minerality is present on the nose with a rich mouthfeel of black raspberry, licorice and roasted coffee. A bold yet well-balanced wine, this Columbia Valley Syrah is made from select vineyards that exhibit rich and distinctive varietal character.
Red Mountain’s Vineyards give the wine its structure and opulent full body. Stone Tree and Candy Mountain vineyards provide savory notes of smoked meats, tapenade and sage while the 1993 planting at Dutchman's Vineyard in the Yakima Valley enhances the brightness. Aged 18 months in 70% neutral, 30% new oak barrels.
