Peumo Vineyard in Peumo within the Rapel Valley, Chile. River bench associated soils, deep alluvial clay loam.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested during April. The wine is aged for 18 months in new (40%) and used (60%) French oak barrels, then aged an additional month after bottling.

Tasting Notes

Marques de Casa Concha, is dark, deep red in color with intriguing notes of currant, plum, wild berry, and spice with a touch of vanilla and mocha for dimension. Medium bodied with black-cherry flavors, followed by bittersweet chocolate and spice. Complexity develops out of its firm, quiet and supple core.
