Altocedro Malbec Reserva 2018

The small Uco Valley winery hides this treasure among its wines. With a limited supply and made from old vines, it is not easily found but it is worth looking for. A somewhat opaque violet, it offers sustained aromas ranging from fruit and wood to mushrooms, earth and balsamic notes. 

On the palate it is juicy and expressive, with a good body and a long and distinctive flavor of fresh grape that excites. The best? Which is a perfect example to describe what kind of Malbec is produced in La Consulta. Red for connoisseurs and neophytes wanting to be surprised.
