Luigi Maffini Kleos Aglianico 2019 (750ML/12) 2019

Mixing minty herbs and camphor with musky blackberries and old cedar spice box, the 2019 Aglianico Kleos makes itself known. It’s silky and polished in feel, but with a core of stimulating acidity that enlivens its ripe red and black fruits, as a twang of sour citrus and salty minerals collects toward the close.

There’s so much energy here, but also a finely etched web of fine tannins that creates a classically dry and refined expression.
