A brand-new wine from Lazy Creek Vineyards, our non-vintage “Lazy Day Pinot Noir comes from Mendocino Ridge and Anderson Valley in Mendocino County where warm, sunny days and cool, foggy mornings and nights create the ideal microclimate for producing this wine. This sustainably-farmed Pinot Noir has attractive floral aromas along with bright cherry, berry, spice and earth nuances. Lush flavors of ripe plum, raspberry, cola, and cedar are perfect compliments to round out this medium-bodied easy-drinking wine.
This wine utilizes only organic materials in the vineyards. The grapes from the low-yielding vineyards are hand-harvested and hand-sorted, fermented in open-top tanks and macro bins - partially whole-cluster fermented - and carefully basket pressed. Aged in new and older French oak, the wine completes malolactic fermentation in barrel before bottling.

Our Lazy Creek Vineyards “Lazy Day” Pinot Noir is delicious paired with braised meats, fowl, veal, salmon, lobster, prawns, and dishes with creamy sauces and spicy seasonings. Medium-textured soups and stews also pair nicely.
