Sweet cherry, redcurrant, a subtle earthy autumnal thing happening, musk and rose, suede leather and spice. It’s medium-bodied, earthy and perfumed, beautiful density of fine grained tannin, cool acidity, and a very long finish of rosy red fruits, and again that quiet umami mushroom earthiness trailing. This is right up there for quality. A magnificent expression of Nebbiolo. Its texture is fine, even elegant.
