L'Acino IGT Calabria Bianco "Chora" 2020

Mantonico/Pecorello/Garnacha Blanco/Greco Bianco. These are the youngest vines in the L'Acino line-up, planted from massal selections from older vines, on a sandy hillside in 2007.

The organically farmed fruit is harvested by hand, pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts without the addition of sulfur. The wine is tank-aged on its lees before being bottled in the spring, unfiltered and with a tiny amount of sulfur. It is meant to be an easy, quaffable style.
