Joao Pato (Duckman) Kite Duck Bairrada Rose 2020

Duckman Kite Duck is a white wine made by taking the juice of red grapes before it has any skin contact (95% Baga) and macerating it with the skins of white grapes (5% Maria Gomes). 

The result is a dry, coppery, coral-hued, medium-bodied wine with notes of cranberry, pomegranate and fresh apricot followed by a little funkiness on teh dry, slightly tannic finish. It’s lovely as an aperitif, but can even stand up to sweet and spicy dry-rubbed babybacks.
