Quite dark ruby (slight purple?). Smells like black plum, black cherry, raspberry, ginger snap cookies, tobacco leaf, bitter dark chocolate, cedar.

Solid oak backbone. Pungent (just shy of shrill) acidity and firm dusty tannins render a “big” wine, with a generous soupy body bursting with the aforementioned fruits with a smattering of dried cranberry and goji, wormwood, and sandpaper notes.
