J. Lohr Cuvee Pom 2014

A rich Bordeaux inspired blend with rich aromas of cassis, stewed plum, dried cranberry and milk chocolate. The palate is lush but soft with nary a hard angle instead filling the mouth with ripe fruit for long smooth finish.

Black currant meets with turned soil, crushed rock and wet clay on the impressively weighted nose of this Bordeaux-style blend. Polished tannins make for a soft entry to the palate, where cassis, blueberry, herb and pepper flavors show atop a slow-rising acidity.
