Ironstone Zinfandel Old Vine Reserve 2016

This ripe and oaky wine starts with plummy, sweet and spicy aromas, then floods the palate with ripe flavors of dried plums and sweet cherries. It is full bodied but soft in texture.

Rich and supple, this generous Zinfandel, a blend of five different old vine vineyards, offers plush aromas and flavors of ripe blackberries, pepper and chocolate, finishing with well-rounded tannins and a lingering dark, fruit finish.  

The mild dark fruits and sweetness in our Reserve Zinfandel will pair perfectly with a creamy and herbaceous fettuccine pork Bolognese or a rich braised beef dish with lots of hearty vegetables.
