Il Poggione Rosso di Montalcino 2019

Rosso is the lighter, less aged wine from the clone of Sangiovese known as Brunello and this is lovely: concentrated and elegant, with black cherry, blackcurrant and soft-serve vanilla on the nose, with coffee and black fruit in the mouth.

Food Matching: Moroccan spiced beef, grilled pork chops with classic barbecue sauce or steak with ham, provone and mushroom sauce can all be a wonderful match with this delicious red.
