Complex and seamless, with vibrant fragrance and soft body. Aromas of rose buds, wet stone, and orange peel entice while intense flavors of melon, citrus, and allspice linger on the palate. Light in texture and polished, with floral, spicy lychee and grapefruit flavors that show moderate intensity, lingering on the smooth, mostly dry finish.

These old vines are from the original 1971 estate planting. The wine is quite dry, surprisingly soft in the mouth, with lemon zest, peach and grapefruit flavors. The floral nature of the grape is kept in check, as are both the alcohol and acidity.
