A lot of forest floor and some barnyard on the nose. Mellowed out after it opened up. Cranberry and tart cherry, but muted. Acid was integrated upfront, but not so much on the finish which was a bit weak.
Left me wondering if this was missing some acid. That said, this is very easy drinking and went will with a grilled chicken.
