A Luca Maroni  “Wine of the Year”, this 70% Primitivo/30% Negroamaro blend was rated 98 points and Best Italian Red Wine. Negroamaro grapes are partially dried, and then blended with Primitivo grapes, then aged in French oak barrels. This process gives the wine a ripe cherry, super rich and complex finish.

Negroamaro, Syrah and Cabernet. Intense deep ruby red. Wild berries on the nose, red flowers, aromatic herbs, humus and eucalyptus. Very fruity in the mouth, well-balanced, mouth-filling, with a great persistence. 

First courses with meat sauce, polenta, grilled meat, buffalo stews and medium aged cheeses. Serving temperature 16/18° C.
