This wine comes from one of the most isolated single-vineyards in the world and from a fantastic Shiraz vintage. The distinctive and deep well of aromas of this cool-climate region are all here: scrubby herbs, olives, mint, luscious red fruit, a stony minerality, violets and chocolate.
It's fresh, with austere, ultrasavory, talc-textured tannins. Drink now with charred lamb or cellar another decade at least.
