Franchere Wine Company Red Blend "Cascadia" Willamette Valley 2021

An unlikely blend of 88% Pinot Noir, 8% Grüner Veltliner and 4% Syrah, the wine shows a whimsical perfume from co-fermentation, and 9 months of aging in neutral oak and stainless-steel tanks.

Maraschino cherries and chocolate cherry cordials are contrasted by woodsy notes, stems and herb.  The palate zigs & zags through a soft and fresh mid-palate, to lively acid and a lengthy finish.
