Earlier today I ordered a seafood pasta dish in a tomato-based sauce and the preliminary decision was ordering a white wine which I did, but for my dish this one fit the bill. Morellino di Scansano, a DOCG wine from Maremma an area located in the most southern part of Tuscany well known for its small boutique hotels .
85% Sangiovese & 15% Merlot Med+ intense ruby red Aromas of little red berries . Textbook ripe red cherry, soft, round tannins & lively acidity Good structure and balanced.
