Domaine Tortochot Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaux St-Jacques 2018

A French red wine from Burgundy that represents an excellence of the territory: in fact the most famous Premiers Crûs in Gevrey-Chambertin are located right on the Côte Saint Jacques. This area has long been recognized as one of the most renowned areas of Gevrey-Chambertin and of the whole Côte de Nuits for the cultivation of pinot noir.

The vineyards are exposed to the south and grow on soils rich in fine limestone, which give the wines elegant and refined hints of mineral salts. Ruby red in color, the nose expresses elegant and fruity aromas of small red fruits, currants, raspberries and wild strawberries. The enveloping sip and good structure, with silky tannins and a pleasant freshness. Persistent finish.
