Domaine Santa Duc 'Les Aubes' Vacqueyras 2019

Bursting with charred notes—burning embers, coal, steeped blackberries and a singular, hanging note violet along the top of the glass, this young, vigorous blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah has, to it's credit, considerable structure and bright acidity.

It will certainly reward those who are patient. Finishes with a flourish of black peppercorns, creosote and Garrique.
