Deep and intense, this wine slowly reveals its secrets - black cherries, dark chocolate, a hint of clove and nutmeg - hugely rich and enveloping but with a Southern Rhone elegance. 

When you do try this wine, it's amazing with a simple, mature farmhouse cheddar, crackers and onion pickle chutney.
